HOW WE BEGAN
“Like all great stories, this one too started with a woman. In 2012, our Boss, a second-year medical student at Obafemi Awolowo University, had a crush on a pretty lady and wanted to give her a one-of-a-kind surprise. The kind of surprise that would melt her heart and cause her to run into his arms. So he went out searching for the perfect gift item for her. Days and weeks passed, and he didn’t find something fitting.
THE SPARK OF INSPIRATION
One Sunday afternoon on his way to church, he had a lightbulb moment: If he was having this problem, then there must be other people having this issue too, and just like that, a gift company was born. Even though he never found the gift to sweep her off her feet, he found a greater love that has served him for years, provided jobs, and created happiness in the hearts of thousands of people both at home and abroad. And that is Magik World.
