GENERAL TERMS AND POLICIES

This policy applies to all orders placed with Magik World Gifts & Surprises through our website, WhatsApp, social media platforms, phone calls, or any official sales channel.


By placing an order with Magik World, you agree to the terms and policies outlined below.

 

 

1. GENERAL POLICY

Magik World specializes in fresh flowers, cakes, balloons, luxury gifts, customized packages, surprise experiences, and event-related products. Due to the nature of many of our products and services, certain items are non-returnable and non-refundable once processing or preparation has begun.


We are committed to delivering premium quality products and excellent customer service while maintaining fair policies that protect both our customers and our business operations.


2. REFUNDS

Refunds can only be processed after all the conditions below are met and our where our team have reviewed and deemed it satisfactory.


2.1 NON-REFUNDABLE PRODUCTS & SERVICES

The following items and services are strictly non-refundable once payment has been confirmed and processing has started:

  • Fresh flowers and bouquets
  • Cakes and edible products
  • Customized gifts and personalized items
  • Surprise packages already prepared or dispatched
  • Balloon arrangements and installations
  • Event décor and setup services
  • Hotel, restaurant, or third-party reservations booked on behalf of customers
  • Digital products or custom designs
  • Same-day delivery orders already in processing
  • Items purchased during clearance or promotional sales
  • Products altered based on customer specifications


Once preparation begins, materials, labor, logistics, and third-party commitments are already incurred; therefore cancellations or refunds may not be possible.


2.2 REFUND ELIGIBILITY

Refunds may only be considered under the following verified situations:

  • Wrong product delivered by Magik World
  • Incomplete order caused by Magik World
  • Damaged product caused before delivery
  • Order paid for but not delivered due to internal operational failure
  • Duplicate payment made by customer
  • Verified failed transaction where payment was debited without successful order confirmation


All refund requests are subject to investigation and management approval.


2.3 NON-ELIGIBLE REFUND SITUATIONS

Refunds will NOT be issued for:

  • Customer changing their mind after confirmation
  • Incorrect address or phone number supplied by customer
  • Recipient refusing to answer calls or receive delivery
  • Failed surprise due to recipient unavailability
  • Delays caused by traffic, weather, security checks, protests, curfews, or force majeure events
  • Minor variations in flowers, packaging, colors, or decoration styles
  • Natural characteristics of fresh flowers
  • Melted or slightly altered cake appearance due to weather or transit conditions
  • Customer dissatisfaction based on personal taste preference
  • Delayed responses from customer affecting delivery timelines
  • Incorrect information submitted during checkout
  • Third-party delivery delays beyond reasonable control



2.4 ORDER CANCELLATION POLICY

A. Before Processing

Orders may be cancelled before production or preparation begins. Eligible cancellations may attract administrative or payment processing charges.


B. After Processing Begins

Orders cannot be cancelled once:

  • Production has started
  • Packaging has begun
  • Dispatch rider has been assigned
  • Floral arrangements have been made
  • Cakes or customized items are in preparation
  • Third-party bookings have been confirmed


C. Same-Day & Urgent Orders


Urgent and same-day orders cannot be cancelled once confirmed due to immediate resource allocation and dispatch preparation.


3. DISCLAIMERS

3.1 FLOWERS & NATURAL PRODUCT DISCLAIMER

Flowers are natural products and may vary slightly in:

  • Color shade
  • Bloom size
  • Arrangement style
  • Wrapping materials
  • Seasonal availability


Where exact flowers or materials are unavailable, Magik World reserves the right to substitute with similar or higher-value alternatives while maintaining the overall design quality and aesthetic.

Such substitutions do not qualify for refunds.


3.2 CAKE & FOOD PRODUCT DISCLAIMER

Customers are responsible for:

  • Providing correct spellings and customization details
  • Informing us of allergies or dietary restrictions
  • Ensuring recipients are available to receive perishable items


Minor variations in decoration, icing style, or finishing may occur due to handcrafted production processes.


Food items cannot be returned once delivered due to hygiene and safety regulations.


4. DELIVERY POLICY

A. Delivery Time

Estimated delivery times are provided as guidelines and may vary due to:

  • Traffic conditions
  • Weather conditions
  • Security restrictions
  • Rider availability
  • Distance and accessibility
  • Public holidays or high-volume periods


Magik World shall not be held liable for delays caused by circumstances beyond reasonable control.


B. Recipient Availability

If the recipient is unreachable:

  • Our team may contact the sender
  • Delivery may be rescheduled
  • Additional delivery fees may apply


If delivery fails due to recipient unavailability, the order may be marked completed after reasonable delivery attempts.


C. Surprise Deliveries

Magik World is not responsible for emotional outcomes, reactions, or unexpected responses during surprise deliveries.


5. CUSTOMER RESPONSIBILITIES

Customers are responsible for:

  • Providing accurate order details
  • Confirming spellings, dates, addresses, and phone numbers
  • Ensuring recipient availability
  • Reviewing invoices before payment
  • Reading all product descriptions carefully


Errors caused by incorrect customer information may result in additional charges.


6. PAYMENT POLICY

All orders must be fully paid before processing unless otherwise agreed in writing.


Magik World reserves the right to:

  • Decline suspicious transactions
  • Verify large payments
  • Request proof of payment
  • Delay processing pending payment confirmation


Fraudulent payment activity may be reported to appropriate authorities.


7. CHARGEBACK & FRAUD POLICY

Customers agree not to initiate fraudulent chargebacks after receiving products or services.


Where evidence confirms successful delivery or service fulfillment, Magik World reserves the right to:

  • Contest chargebacks
  • Submit delivery evidence
  • Restrict future purchases
  • Pursue legal remedies where necessary


8. LIABILITY LIMITATION

Magik World’s liability shall be limited strictly to the value of the affected order.


Under no circumstances shall Magik World be liable for:

  • Emotional distress
  • Indirect losses
  • Missed events
  • Relationship disputes
  • Business losses
  • Consequential damages


9. FORCE MAJEURE

Magik World shall not be liable for delays or inability to perform due to events beyond reasonable control including:

  • Floods
  • Fires
  • Accidents
  • Government restrictions
  • Internet/network failures
  • Civil unrest
  • Fuel scarcity
  • Natural disasters
  • Security emergencies


10. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

All images, designs, branding, product concepts, and website content remain the intellectual property of Magik World and may not be copied or reproduced without permission.


11. POLICY MODIFICATION

Magik World reserves the right to update or modify this policy at any time without prior notice.


Updated policies become effective immediately upon publication on our official platforms.
